At 10:00 AM. on Friday, March 23, 2012, at the Camp Wolters Historical Park, just east of the Mineral Wells High School, a dedication ceremony was held for the new memorial to the fourteen recipients of the Medal of Honor who served at either Camp Wolters or Fort Wolters. A dedication ceremony is planned for 10:00 AM. on March 23, 2013, for the new Medal of Honor Memorial that was recently added to the Fort Wolters Historical Park, located at the triangle area, about a half mile north of the restored Main Gate at the entrance to Wolters Industrial Park.
The new Medal of Honor Memorial in Camp Wolters Historical Park, located just east of the Mineral Wells High School, was dedicated on March 23, 2012.
