At 10:00 AM. on Friday, March 23, 2012, at the Camp Wolters Historical Park, just east of the Mineral Wells High School, a dedication ceremony was held for the new memorial to the fourteen recipients of the Medal of Honor who served at either Camp Wolters or Fort Wolters.
A second ceremony was held, at 1:30 PM. on the same day, at the Fort Wolters Historical Park to announce the addition to the park of a second, and much larger, memorial to the fourteen Medal of Honor recipients who served at Camp Wolters or Fort Wolters.
