The Fort Wolters Historical Committee met on August 30, 2023. New by laws were adopted, key officers were selected and approval granted for seeking 501 (3c) nonprofit status.
This will enable the best possible method of obtaining public and private support to continue the preservation of the rich history and legacy of Fort Wolters.
2013
A dedication ceremony is planned for 10:00 AM. on March 23, 2013, for the new Medal of Honor Memorial that was recently added to the Fort Wolters Historical Park, located at the triangle area, about a half mile north of the restored Main Gate at the entrance to Wolters Industrial Park.

The new Medal of Honor Memorial in Camp Wolters Historical Park, located just east of the Mineral Wells High School, was dedicated on March 23, 2012.
